The Dambusters Raids

Dambusters Artwork

Over the past 70 years, the events of 'Operation Chastise' on the night of 16th/17th May 1943 have been well documented. Many first-hand accounts have been published by 617 Squadron crewmembers that took part in the 'Dambusters' missions. There have been movies and many documentaries made about the daring raids and their planning.

The Dambusters artwork in this gallery is an on-going project, created as my own tribute to the brave young men that took part in the raids. Underneath the images, the text gives a brief description of how the raid was planned and how the stages of the opperation unfolded throughout the night.

Each of the images are available to buy. I also have a limited number of 'Bomb Gone' signed by AJ-T bomb aimer Sgt. George 'Johnny' Johnson DFC. Flying in 'T' for Tommy, 'Johnny' sucessfully dropped his upkeep on the Sorpe Dam. If you would like any more infomation please get in touch via the Contact page.
